The purpose of the African Heritage Club is to encourage and foster an awareness of the Afro-American culture and to be aware and cognizant of contemporary issues based on the Afro-American culture.

 

Guest speakers come to address the students on contemporary issues regarding Afro-Americans.

 

Students take charge of Black History Month; they are responsible for teaching the community of BGA the accomplishments of many Afro-Americans.
