This club's goal is to assist BGA students who are interested in teaching careers by providing a realistic understanding of teaching and encouraging people of different backgrounds to explore the profession.  Use basic skills of teaching (love of the students, subject matter expertise, methods of how people learn, classroom knowledge plans, testing methods, group dynamics, listening, fun in learning, the use of visuals, etc.)  An additional goal is the growth of teachers.
Activities:
November - Panel of six teachers to discuss why they became a teacher and to discuss how they "teach"
December - Learning style test and discussion
January - Writing lesson plans
February - Presentation and discussion
April - Panel of six teachers to teach two techniques they use in class and why they use them
May - Writing on a specific topic
