Theatre Productions

The theatrical productions not only are very popular activities that help the students discover and enrich their dramatic talents, but also are a great way for students to get involved and meet other students interested in Theater.
The Bishop Ahr High School spring 2007 musical production of “Guys and Dolls” has been selected as the only New Jersey high school musical recognized in USA Weekend’s High School Musical Showstoppers Award.  The school received an HONORABLE MENTION in the contest, which honors extraordinary high school productions across the country.

The drama department has always had a reputation for excelence, and has been recognized numerous times by the Papermill Playhouse for that fact.  In the 2004-2005 school year, the Production of DAMN YANKEES won 2 awards: best featured ensemble for the Washing Senators group, and best choreographer for Kathleen Abitablile (class of '97).
